Detect-A-Pass is a secure, passive ‘receive-only’ monitoring detection system and thus does NOT transmit any information or communicate directly with any RF transponders. RFID systems monitor and report traffic flow regularly on many roads and highways. Outside of the toll area, you will receive alerts if any transponder is communicating unbeknownst to the operator. This provides a confirmation that the toll booth successfully communicated with their vehicle’s transponder.
